Membership fees

ISSMUS Membership (residential*): £395

* Shared accommodation is available, but we are unable to make a reduction to these rates for students who share.

Full course tuition (except Choral Singing): £195

Choral singing course tuition: £150

Composition Workshops, Accompaniment Workshops: £30

Performance Presentation, Poetry & Song: £15

Lesson/individual session: £20 per 30 minutes

If you introduce a new participant who books for the full week, you will receive a £20 discount from your own attendance fee!

A deposit of £100 is payable upon application, which is only returnable if a place is unavailable for you at the school. The balance of your fee is due by 1st June 2012. All payments must be made by cash, cheque or electronic transfer. Students applying from outside the UK may contact the Administrator to discuss alternative methods of payment. It is possible to pay your fee  in installments, with any top-up being payable by 1st June 2012. Details will be sent to you with confirmation of your booking.

Due to our contract with Shrewsbury School, we regret that, after 30 June 2012, we will be unable to refund the entire balance of your fee, should you be forced to cancel your booking. For this reason we strongly advise all students to take out suitable holiday insurance.

Student Bursaries

We try to offer a number of bursaries every year to students who might not otherwise be able to attend. If you wish to apply, simply mark the bursaries box on the Application Form, and attach a copy of our Bursary Form. There are a number of factors that you should consider before applying for a bursary:

• Do you have a low income or depend on parental support?
• Do you have very high travel costs?
• Can you provide references or letters of support?
• How will your attendance contribute to ISSMUS in a musical or practical way?
