ISSMUS Membership
All participants who stay on site for the entire week will be charged an ISSMUS membership fee. This fee covers meals and accommodation, and entitles the participant to listen in on course sessions, use practice rooms and other facilities (e.g. the swimming pool) and to vote at the AGM. For those attending Young ISSMUS courses, the membership fee is included as part of the total fee. If you wish to stay on site for the week in order to accompany another ISSMUS member, but without taking part in a course or bolt-on activities, you will only be charged the ISSMUS membership fee.
ISSMUS Courses
For those aged 12-20, who wish to attend one of the Young ISSMUS courses, please see the section below entitled ‘Young ISSMUS’.
ISSMUS members may choose to take part in one of the ISSMUS courses. Each course is timetabled in sessions 1-3 from Sunday to Thursday of the ISSMUS week, with some sessions on the final Friday, which will include some student concerts. The courses will concentrate on individual tuition (with the exception of Choral Singing and Choral Conducting which will have group tuition sessions) , although all ISSMUS members, particularly those taking part in the same course, are welcome, and indeed encouraged, to listen in to other students’ lessons.

ISSMUS Bolt-ons
ISSMUS members may also choose to take part in one or more of the Bolt-ons, either as well as or instead an ISSMUS course. Activities in the form of workshops will mostly take place in session 4. Those in the form of individual lessons will take place throughout the day; the lesson times can be signed up for by participants during the week in order to best fit in with the individual’s timetabled course sessions.
While we would encourage you to elect in advance of the ISSMUS week the Bolt-ons you wish to attend, you may also be able to sign up for some Bolt-on activities during ISSMUS depending on students numbers.

Young ISSMUS
Young ISSMUS courses are open to students aged 12-20, and run on an independent timetable to the other ISSMUS courses. The fee for the Young ISSMUS courses includes ISSMUS membership and all musical activities during the week. Those participating in Young ISSMUS courses may be able to take part in selected Bolt-on activities, at the discretion of their course tutors.
