‘Crossing continents….’

An opportunity to refresh your singing technique, and to explore an ambitious repertoire of music from different styles and periods with like-minded musicians, under the leadership of one ofEurope’s most distinguished choral experts. This course will appeal to school choral directors and conductors who wish to sing, rather than conduct, for a week, and other like-minded music;ians.

Repertoire will be drawn from:

Ramirez – Navidad Nuestra (with piano and percussion,
provided by course members)

Schönberg – Friede auf Erden

Josquin  - Nunc Dimittis

Gesualdo  - Tenebrae Responsories

Music by e.g. Eric Whitacre & Bob Chilcott, Grainger, Holst, & others
British Folksong arrangements

Plus vocal jazz and folksongs from around the globe

A precise list of works to be studied will be available at least two months before the summer school.
